 The demise of the NHS ear syringing service has created a demand for an alternative solution.

I have seen many patients with whistling hearing aids, compromised hearing, pain and discomfort due to a wax blockage. A simple wax removal procedure can vastly improve the quality of these patients lives.  But patients are getting increasingly frustrated by a lack of  options and long waiting lists.

So, I have taken action and am now delighted to be able to offer you this private service for earwax removal from my clinic room in Fulstow which is easily accessible from Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Louth and surrounding areas.

My clinic room is a modern, welcoming Covid Safe space.

 I do not sell hearing aids and I am not affiliated with any other company, I continue to do NHS work. You can be confident that any information or advice you receive from me will always be honest and impartial.

You, your ear health and your best interests will always be my primary focus.

 

My NHS Career in Audiology began in 1992 at Brighton University Hospital where I gained qualifications in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement. I completed my BAAT training at Charing Cross Hospital London.

Post qualification I've worked in various hospital in the South East of England for the NHS and alongside ENT consultants at their private practices in Croydon and Harley Street London.

Since 2006  I've held a Senior Audiologist position locally. 

​

I have a level one in British Sign Language. I hold qualifications in Early Years Education and Understanding Autism.

I am also a City and Guilds qualified Audiology Assessor so am helping train and develop our future audiologists.

 

In 2000 I trained in instrumentation wax removal with Rotherham Primary Ear Care and I have recently updated my clinical skills in Liverpool to include the latest microsuction technique which is regarded to be the safest and most efficient way to clear ears.

Together with my 30 years NHS experience I am registered as a clinical physiologist with RCCP (registration no: 5187) and am a member of BSHAA ( membership no: 1003105)  I also hold full clinical treatment liability insurance. I am also fully GDPR compliant.
